This work is a combination of two ideas. Some of the pages are binding as a notebook, and the other part are intended as a sketchbook.
Starting for the covers. The colour is old- red with different grades of dying. The front cover has a stamp on a cream background of one of my favourite works by Amalio (Painter). The work is El final (The End). Beside the image, there is in golden letters the name of the work: Ephemera.
The back cover has a pattern of curves with three different colours: dark brown, silver and gold.
The binding style is a Bradell one, with sewing pattern for the notebook part, closed on the spine with four wooden pieces imitation flowers.
The endpaper is a continuous curve design. Colours red, orange and yellow.
The first part of the notebook is a double page with two pockets. Colours brown and red.
After we have three different signatures made with three cardboard 1 mm thick, inside each of them another signature with ten pages each. A card hand painted is found inside each cardboard.This part is sewing directly on the spine with red was cotton and fixed on the spine with the wooden pieces.
After we have the sketchbook. Join to the back cover with two screw pieces in gold colour.
The first page is a handmade paper dyed with onion skin and with the same stamp that there is on the front cover.
The rest of the notebook is made with white ecological artist paper, 120 g/m2 56 lbs
The measure of this sketchbook is an 18 x 21 cm.
The notebook close with a double elastic band.
