Second bookbinding of a series of two. I tried to do something different on this second bookbinding. Brown colours, one of the favourite colours of Timothy. My selection again a Bradel binding with two different materials: faux fur for the spine and buckram for the covers. Both covers were original in beige, and for the first layer I used three different tones of brown with a white acrylic-based filler, usually used for Graffiti. It makes the cover look like an old book, something that seems a good idea for someone described by the buyer as a quiet and meditative person. The second layer is made with glass paint to emboss the shape of a man reading under a tree, and the third is made and last layer of china ink in black and gold to see the content of the book (words flying from the book.) The end paper is painted with paste in reddish and black colours and with unequal circles as ornamentation. The joint of the open book has a hinge in dark brown to connect both parts of the endpaper.
