Quotes sketchbook

This bookbinding started with the same idea that I had with the Island of Coral's rebinding. I wanted an accordion pocket fixed on one of the covers to fill with different papers, but a notebook that I could replace every time it was finished. The accordion is made with 1 mm cardboard and has four pockets. The notebook is fixed with two screws of 2 cm on the back cover. I was not sure about the way to keep close and save all the papers, but I wanted the space to put a pen or pencil, and a strong lock, practical but different. For the front cover, I selected quotes about life for every day, single words that state a whole world and some patterns to fill the spaces, for the back I chose quotes from books that have a special meaning for me. The idea of the puppets in the front trying to go out of the notebook and on the back trying to get in was just thinking about characters in a book that will start living a "real life" outside the pages.
